From May 15 to October 15, a ban on construction work will be in effect in Alanya and its surrounding areas. The goal is to ensure peace of mind for tourists and protect tourism revenues in the region.
The construction of objects that create noise, dust and spoil the visual experience will be temporarily banned in areas that are especially popular with tourists in the summer months.
The ban primarily concerns activities that create noise and pollute the environment, such as excavation work and pouring concrete. The decision was made by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and local authorities will monitor the activities. Violators face large fines.
